Tanzania's National Essential Medicines List (NEMLIT, 7th edition, 2026) lists 109 medicines at level C, meaning they should be available from council or district hospital level upwards. Level C medicines may be prescribed by specialists, medical officers, dental officers and assistant medical officers. None of them is on the DukaDawa pharmacy network yet.
