Cookies and device storage notice

What we use

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking tools. We do not let other companies place cookies through our web app.

The web app uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in, save your work and remember your settings. Everything below is needed for the service you ask for.

What we store on your device

• Prescriber sign-in: your sign-in state and a refresh token, so the app can reopen to the unlock screen instead of a full sign-in. On your own device these are kept in local storage. In shared-device mode they are kept in session storage and are removed when you close the tab.
• Organisation, insurer and admin portals: sign-in tokens are kept in session storage only and are removed when you close the tab. Portal sessions last up to 12 hours.
• Draft prescription: the prescription you are writing, including patient details and your clinical note, is saved in your browser's database (IndexedDB) so you do not lose it if the page reloads. It is not saved in shared-device mode. It is deleted when you issue or clear the draft, and when you sign out.
• Preferences: your language, the country you last chose at sign-in, your display currency and whether you closed the install prompt. These are kept in local storage and stay after sign-out because they are not sensitive.
• Offline files: when you use the app as an installed app (PWA), a service worker keeps copies of the app's own files, such as code, fonts, icons and an offline page, so it loads fast and works on a weak connection. It never stores prescriptions, patient data or other responses from our servers.

Maps

Maps in the web app, such as the location picker and the directory map, load map images from OpenStreetMap's tile servers. Your browser requests these images directly, so the OpenStreetMap tile server sees your IP address and the area of the map you view. We do not send it any other data.

Signing out and clearing data

When you sign out, the app removes your sign-in tokens, your draft prescription and the offline file cache from the device. Your preferences stay.

You can remove everything at any time by clearing site data for dukadawarx.co.tz in your browser settings. If you installed the app, uninstalling it also removes its data. After this you will need to sign in again and set your preferences again.

Why there is no consent banner

Everything we store is strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for, so we do not show a consent banner.

If we ever want to use storage that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will ask for your permission first and update this notice.
